![]() ![]() ![]() When a user’s inbox gets corrupted, I check the missing mails date range & restores them on the users mail folders for later retrieval to their Inbox. It also creates a backup of all good emails per user. It pools messages from our ISP’s and applies filters for spam & viruses. ![]() Luckily, I have a software that acts as our secondary mail server (Mercury). Yes, it is common that only a range of dates were missing from their ‘Inbox’. I have tried DBX repair tools but no luck with the free ones. AFAIK, the primary cause is a power interruption (or a system failure) while OE is retrieving messages from the server. Several users in our office have sporadically experienced this problem which is characterized by a partial corruption of OE Inbox database (DBX).
